INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Psychological Therapy is the process of exploring, with a professional, difficulties that one might face. There are many different ways of conducting Psychological Therapy and the Psychologists at Vivamus aim to tailor their approach to meet an individual’s unique needs.
The models of therapy used by Vivamus Psychologists have been heavily researched and found to be effective in treating a wide range of problems. The frequency and length of therapy are decided by client and therapist, and the therapeutic process is collaborative.

PROCESS OF THERAPY
Therapy can either take place face to face in consulting rooms at the Lido Medical Centre or via video or telephone.
In the first appointment the Psychologist will explain how they work and will usually ask you some questions about your past, why you have come to therapy at this point in your life, and what your goals for therapy are.
After the first session you and your Psychologist will discuss what future therapy is likely to involve in regard to content, length and likely outcomes. Future sessions are usually weekly and last 50 minutes, but depending on what is convenient and required can be more or less frequent
